The “Driving Fore Wishes” Charity Golf Tournament is Hosted by Cleanrite Buildrite and Farmers Insurance and has averaged around 150 golfers the last three years. Including vendors, we total around 150 people at this event. Vendors are made up of business owners and professionals.
What we expect from our sponsors and what to expect from us. This event has taken a life of its own. We love our Hole Sponsors to think outside the box. Games, Drinks, Food are all encouraged. You can have non-alcoholic or alcoholic drinks. We would love for you to make some business connections by promoting your business in a fun and personal way. Depending on the sponsor level you can get a hole to decorate any way you want, social media promotion, speak at the awards dinner or even be present at the news coverage of the check presentation. This is a very cost-effective way to promote your business and help the community. How can I sign up? Is it tax deductible? What other ways can I help besides doing a sponsorship or foursome? We are in need of raffle prizes and Live auction items. Any donated gift baskets, Products or coupons are appreciated. We also provide recognition for your donation and it is a great way to promote your brand. We also need Food sponsors on the course. The Alyssa Araiza Wings of Angels Organization is committed to aiding families who have children suffering with pediatric cancer or life threatening illness by providing unique support in ways other organizations do not. Families served live in Shasta, Siskiyou, Trinity, Lassen, Tehama, and Modoc counties in Northern California. Wings has provided one million in donations and over 200 families since 2002. The Alyssa Araiza “Wings of Angels” Organization is a non-profit, created under the Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law for public, charitable purposes - not the private gain of any person. The purpose of Wings is to assist families with seriously ill children who are required to travel for treatment. Assistance Criteria 1. A family residing in the Shasta, Siskiyou, Trinity, Lassen and Modoc county area with a child diagnosed with a pediatric cancer or life-threatening illness 2. Travel requirement of 150 miles or greater for treatment of the cancer or illness. 3. Preference of aid is given to families who have a child with a pediatric cancer diagnosis. 4. Preference of aid is given to families of single-parent households. 5. Preference of aid is given to families with limited government assistance. *Documentation of child’s illness must be presented upon acceptance of referral.
